Today we continue our focus on this part of the Lord’s prayer:

“…but deliver us from the evil one.”

God is our defense and is the source of everything we need to be delivered from evil.

Warm Up:

Pray:

“Lord, deliver me from the evil one. Fit my feet with Your peace so that I am sure-footed and can stand strong. When I enter hand-to-hand combat in spiritual warfare, make my feet strong. When I need to sidestep the enemy or run right at a problem, keep my feet on Your path so my ankles do not give way. When I just need to stand in faith, make me immovable.”

Round 2:

REPEAT FROM Day 20: Stand up and Read Ephesians 6:10-17 out loud.

Ephesians 6:10-17 Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.

Round 3:

Stay Standing and pray through this passage:

Psalm 18:30-36—As for You, God, Your way is perfect: Your word is flawless; You shield all who take refuge in You. For who are You besides the Lord? And who is the Rock except You? It is You who arms me with strength and keeps my way secure. You make my feet like the feet of a deer; You cause me to stand on the heights. You train my hands for battle; my arms can bend a bow of bronze. You make Your saving help my shield, and Your right hand sustains me; Your help has made me great. You provide a broad path for my feet, so that my ankles do not give way.

Burn Out:

level up THROUGH PEACE:

Write down where you need the peace of god to guard your heart and your mind.

Now take those needs to God in prayer. The peace of God is one way to discern how to makes decisions and which direction you should go. As you take steps of faith with God in your life, His peace will be present, even if things around you are in turmoil. Look for it. Feel it. Stand on this passage of scripture from Philippians:

Philippians 4:6-8Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
