Morning meditation

Read Psalm 25:6-10

  • How is the Lord leading you?

  • Where have you gone astray?

  • How has the Lord brought you back?

  • Do you have a friend who has gone astray? How can you pray for them?

  • Thank God for His mercy and know that He wants to forgive!

Morning Prayer

This week we are asking GOD for holy spirit power each morning.

Holy Spirit, You are with me today. You are my helper. Will and work in me today to fulfill Kingdom purposes. Fill me with power to overcome temptation and push back the darkness so the Father’s will is done in my life and those around me. Bring healing, freedom and victory to my soul by Your power in my life. I will see victories in my life, not because of my strength, but because of Your power at work within me.

—Adapted from john 16:7; Philippians 2:13; Acts 1:8

Today’s motivation

“Just shut up and do it.” Is that being too blunt? Think of all the excuses that you have made over the years. Guess what? No one cares about your excuses. And who are you making excuses to exactly? No👏🏼More👏🏼Excuses👏🏼 Just get it done.”

HIT Your Goals Today

Make sure your daily habits are locked in so you stay strong!

Self-Denial - In a world where instant gratification is considered a human right, the thought of giving-up some pleasure for a period of time is seen to be futile, if not outright odd. Good job breaking from the pack.

Almsgiving - The foundational call to generosity is a frequent theme of the Gospels. Way to do something ancient that will make a difference today.

Fasting - Fasting diets have rocketed in popularity over the last few years. You’re not doing it because it is cool. You’re doing it to align your heart with what God wants for your life.

Evening Prayer

Set an alarm for this evening so you remember to end your day with God.

Lord, thank You for Your mercy and love—they date back to way before I showed up. I go off the narrow path too often. All I can do is receive Your forgiveness for my wrong and rebellious ways. You love me and remember me because You are so good. If I will listen, You will instruct me in Your ways. Develop humility in me and guide me in what is right. Mature my faith and obedience. Help me walk in confidence, knowing you love me and are faithful to me. Amen.

Pray for your community—government leaders, first responders, business leaders, religious leaders, healthcare workers, educational leaders and any other area that comes to mind.
