Morning meditation
Read 2 Corinthians 5:20-21 and 6:1-10
Consider your daily life.
What are some ways that you live that inspire others in their faith?
What are some ways that you live that might cause others to stumble in their faith?
Write down what you need God’s help to change.

Morning Prayer
This week we are asking GOD for the Spirit of prayer each morning:
Lord, give me the Spirit of prayer—to pray in the Spirit through every situation. I will keep this in focus, so I am on alert, ready to pray fervently for the needs of my brothers and sisters. Help me be anxious for nothing, but in everything passionately pray with thanksgiving and make my requests known to You. And Your peace, which supersedes anything I can understand, will guard my heart and my mind in Christ. Make every prayer I pray effective and accomplish much!
—Adapted from Ephesians 6:18; Philippians 4:6-7; James 5:16
Today’s motivation
Start the process and figure the rest out. Sometimes you think you need some grand plan before you start something new and many times you don't even get started. In truth you just need to take one step. So today, figure out how to take one small step.

HIT Your Goals Today
Make sure your daily habits are locked in so you start strong!
☑️ Emotional - It’s day 3 of giving up. How is that going? Self-denial isn’t easy but it wakes up a hunger for God inside us!
☑️ Mental - The funds you are setting aside may not look like much yet, but just wait, they will pile up! Remember, this is connected to the tradition of almsgiving.
☑️ Physical - Get up and get moving today! Do you miss the food you are fasting? Good, let it remind you to pray! Remember, this is connected to the tradition of fasting.
Evening Prayer
Set an alarm for this evening so you remember to end your day with God. I know this is a long one but it’s goooood!
God, thank you for making Jesus, who had no sin, to be sin for me—so that, in Him, I can be clothed in Your righteousness. It blows me away that You have chosen me to be a co-worker with You. Grant me the strength of faith to endure troubles, hardships, distresses, beatings, imprisonments and riots. Help me be steadfast in hard work, sleepless nights and hunger. Keep me pure, give me understanding, patience and kindness. Fill me with Your Holy Spirit and sincere love. Fill my words with truth and the power of God. Equip me with weapons of righteousness in my right hand and in my left. Keep me humble through glory and dishonor, bad report and good report. Strengthen my integrity even when I am regarded as an impostor. Help me be known even if I am regarded as unknown. When I feel like I am dying, you will strengthen me to live on. When I feel beaten down, remind me that I have breath still in my lungs. Give me joy in sorrow making those around me rich. Even though I may not have anything, remind me that I possess everything! Amen.
Pray for your church—those who lead it, those who serve as volunteers, those who attend and all those who will find God through it.
