Warm-Up:

Read mark 14:53-65. highlight/underline/write out what stands out to you.

Round 1:

Pray:

“Jesus, what an example of a living sacrifice You are to me! Help me to not live according to my own strength. So much of my motive to change is selfish. I want to change my body to secure a good image, acquire wealth to secure comfort, and gain power to secure my happiness. Help me put all of that to death. Show me how to live out Galatians 5:24 and crucify my flesh with its passions and desires because I belong to You. This is my sacrifice.”

Round 2:

Pray:

“Spirit, guide me to put to death the deeds of the body, so I can live. My sacrifice of worship is to live for You and to present the members of my body to You as instruments of righteousness. The only way this is possible is because You will give life to my mortal body as You dwell in me.”

I appeal to you therefore, brothers, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your spiritual worship. Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect. —Romans 12:1-2
