Day 10: Grit
Write down the time and place where you are completing this Soul Workout.
Warm-Up:
Set a timer for 3 minutes and use your own words to honestly talk to God about where you are and how you are feeling at this halfway point. Write down the prayer if that helps you focus.
Round 1:

Round 2:
Read Daniel 9:3; Daniel 9:20-23 and Daniel 10:12-13. Underline what stands out to you.
Round 3:
Pray:
Lord, I’m 10 days in to this pursuit and I’m not quitting in the middle. I’m going to keep showing up. I may not be the smartest person in the room. I may not be the most gifted, educated or best looking, but there’s one thing I will keep doing: I’m going to show up! I will keep showing up to pray. I will keep showing up to read Your Word. I will keep showing up to my job. I will keep showing up to my church. I will keep showing up to serve where I’m needed.
I’m not going to quit in the middle. I’m not going to lay down during the battle. I’m not going to walk away from my field while the seed is still in the ground. Give me a long-term perspective and a Holy resilience to stay and pray!
Burn Out:
Think of one person you can encourage today. Someone who is needing to be encouraged to hang in there. Someone who needs to know that they have what they need to keep showing up. Reach out to them via text, phone or in person and encourage them today!
Sometime this week:
If you are able, fast this week. Choose a day and fast a meal, two meals or the whole day. During the time you would normally eat, take some extra time to focus on God through prayer or reading. If you are not sure if fasting is okay for you, consult your doctor.
