WARM UP:

Pray:

“God, I could never forget all Your miracles, as I remember all Your wonders from the past. I will think about all you’ve done, Lord, amazed by all Your miracles. It’s here in Your presence where I learn more of Your ways. Holiness is revealed in everything you do. Lord, You’re the one and only, the great and glorious God! Your display of wonders, miracles, and power inspires me to acknowledge You. You’ve rescued me over and over.”

ROUND 1:

Read Nehemiah 4:14 and Psalm 77:11-20.

ROUND 2:

What can you remember about God’s work in scripture? Write down 3 things that God did to help His people.

Round 3:

Set a timer for 5 minutes. If you need more time, take it! As you sit quietly, write down what God has done in your life that you are thankful for.

  • today

  • this week

  • this month

  • this year

  • the past 5 years

Round 4:

Traditions like Advent help us intentionally remember the most important story of all: the story of Jesus. Write down the part of the Christmas story that you love the most.

BURN OUT:

When you remember the Lord and all He has done for you, your faith gets stronger. Wrap your day remembering God. Set an alarm for this evening sometime. When the alarm goes off, take a moment to remember the Lord and where you saw Him at work today.

Sometime this week:

Create a diagram of your work over the past few weeks…here’s how:

  1. Circle 1: list your core values

  2. circle 2: List your spiritual gifts

  3. circle 3: List what god taught you in each chapter of your past experiences
