Day 33: Inside
WARM UP:
Read Nehemiah 4:1-12 and underline what stands out to you.
ROUND 1:
Look back at the areas of opposition you wrote down in Round 3 of Day 31. Based on that, make a list of “inside” things that are actually creating opposition in your life and your mission. This could take several forms:
Negative self-talk
Depression
Anxiety
Fear
Discouragement
Unworthiness
Low self-esteem
Look over your list. As you do, consider what is behind the things you wrote down. Fearful? Why? Discouraged? Why? Feeling unworthy? Why? Try to write down the real source of opposition.
ROUND 2:
Read 1 John 4:4, Romans 8:31 and Romans 8:37-39.
Round 3:
When you consider the passages from Round 2, how does this change your perspective on the inside opposition you feel? Write this next to your list from today’s Round 1:
God is for me.
he is greater.
Round 4:
Pray:
“Father, if you are for me, who and what can be against me? Through you, I am more than a conqueror. I am convinced that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate me from Your love in Christ Jesus. Your Spirit lives in me and is greater than any opposition I will ever face.”

Sometime this week:
Spend some time with God to identify your unique core values. Start by answering the following questions:
What stirs up righteous anger inside you?
What brings you the most happiness or joy?
When you look at your past experiences (timeline) what core values do you see revealed in them?
Write down any core values you see in your answers.
